No error messaged yet, but in the n00b guide, it still links to the old intro forum. Obviously, that forum no longer exists~

EDIT: Oh yeah, and the forums stats list is messed up~

Found a bug: I went to post a link in a topic using the "Add Hyperlink" button, and it brings up the usual little window where you put in your link, but when you click "OK", it just closes the window and doesn't do anything. I circumvented it by typing the text I wanted hyperlinked, then highlighting the text and clicking the hyperlink button. I input the link and hit okay, and it formatted it properly, but I don't think that's how it was intended to be used :P

Traith I think that is how the feature is supposed to be used. For instance you type "click here" then select it and click add hyperlink. Different from the old way yes but I think I like it better.

Nope. If you think back a REALLY long time ago, that feature was only for people with a certain amount of posts.

Not an error or a bug as such, just information that's long needed correcting: the updated mods and admin list in The Rules (once, that is, we get everything resettled).

No, it's not. The Google bot just used to show up as a guest, so only admins could see it.

I am unable to insert links into my sig. After I paste the link in the little box, the little box closes and nothing happens. There is nothing on the page indicating that I had put a link on there.

Many thanks, Jade. That did the trick. ^_^ For the record, though, that only did half of what I was wanting to do. If anyone wants to say their own words in their sig link (instead of having a web address as their link), you have to:

1. Delete the bracket after the thing that says [url=http:/].
2. Put another bracket on the end of your web address.
3. Type your personalized text after that bracket.

Maybe that's obvious to everyone else, but I had to figure it out. Anyway, I'm all set! Thanks!

Actually, it's much simpler than that. Just type the words you want to use for your link, select them, and then hit the URL button. You'll be prompted for the address, so either copy and paste it in or type it in, and you're set. ^_^

I can only log in if I put "Elon Hall" in the username field on the log in form.

I don't mind, but I thought it was worth mentioning.

It's not an error. Your user name is Elon Hall and your display name is Cogent. You have to use your user name when logging in. When you registered, you had to fill in two name fields. It's a change that came with the update to the forum software.

It seems as if every night from 9pm to 10pm (pst), the forums are down.
