The Tune Up Utilities 2007 trial does the job. I think you get like 30 uses or 30 days or something. But yeah, it works really really well.

Desktop Save and Restore
Saves the location of your icons in association with your resolution. Useful for restoring your nice layout when some lame program changes the resolution.

What the heck kind of program changes the resolution of your computer in a permanent way?

Ummm, games? That happens to me way to often. And even if it isn't permanent, it still messes up all the icons.

Then there is something very wrong with your computer.

Alright, I recently started to use different and more programs, so let me give you a rundown of the newest stuff I use. Most of the following is free, unless otherwise noted.

Windows XP Pro - My personal favorite OS.

Rocket Dock - Its one of the two docks I use. I love its style, and it really has some cool animations.

Object Dock - Its the other dock that I use. Its not as sleek as Rocketdock, but its better than most other docks.

Steam - Lately I have been using it more and more, mostly for games.

AlShow (with various plugins) - This little program plays almost anything I throw at it. And whatever it can't play, I can download a very tiny codec for it.

AlSong - My default music player.

Zune Software - Only because I have to. I really wish I didn't have too. This thing is terrible.

iTunes - Although I don't have a iPod, most of my friends do and they always want to use my PC for their iPod.

Windows Movie Maker - I do a lot of editing for my school (and for personal use as well) and since I can't afford a better program, I make use with what I have.

Nero 8 Suite - I freaking love this program. It does everything! I can burn almost anything, I can convert my music and videos, I can edit my audio files, I can even edit my videos (just haven't learned how yet). This program rocks. There isn't much it can't do. And I managed to get it for 50$ brand new~ :D

Any Video Converter - Converts every single type of video under the sun into WMV's, AVI's and various other types of video. Very useful to turn videos into Zune format.

Photoshop Elements - I use this to... edit photos... *duh* 100$ new

7z - My main zip/unzip program (though I also have another incase this one can't do the job).

Wow! Thanks for posting this. Rocketdock has helped me reduce the number of standalone icons on my desktop to one, that being the Recycle Bin. Is there a way to get rid of the Recycle Bin Icon?

I have a external hard drive that I want to format into Fat32 format (not NTFS). Windows will not do it: for some reason it only formats into NTFS. So could you guys point me in the direction of a program that formats drives into a fat32 drive?

I suppose everyone's question at this point is:

Why on Earth do you want a Fat32 drive?

I want to use it with my 360, but I read that 360's cannot use NTFS formatted HD's.

I find that hard to believe, considering the 360 is a Microsoft invention... o.O

I totally forgot that Firefox 3 hasn't been released yet... I've been using it since beta, and RC1 seems stable as a rock.
