UPDATE on Caleb, my 8-week old son:
We spent all day yesterday with him at the hospital for testing, and his symptoms are consistent with something called "Hirschsprung's Disease." They took a biopsy of his colon and we expect to have test results by Monday. If it is Hirschsprung's Disease, then his condition is serious enough that they will do surgery to remove part of his colon. In the meantime we have an irrigation kit here at home and we are keeping his bowels flushed out every 8 hours so he doesn't rupture anything, and praying that God will fix this and use it in a way that brings glory to Him.
It's kind of a serious situation and I'm concerned about Caleb, but not a way that is worrisome or panicky. I forget what the reference is in Philippians but it says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, humbly present your requests to God, and the peace that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus." God is doing that for me.

Yes He is!
If you guys wouldn't mind praying for Caleb again, today he is pooping blood and we are taking him to the hospital. This bleeding plus his previous symptoms has the doctor saying we need to pack a bag for overnight. God knows what's going on but I don't, so please remember us in your prayers.
I'll let you know how it goes the next time I have something to report. Thanks!

Wow boyward! You have no idea how encouraging this is! I know so many times when I should stop worrying and just dwell on the verse you spoke of! He truly is great! God bless you brother!

If ya guys wouldn't mind, praying for a friend of mine, she is just going through some difficult things right now, as well as a close (bro) friend of mine. Pray for me in general, because as school draws to a close I seem to be getting ancier and ancier every day to just graduate, what I need is pasience and lots of it xD. But like, I pray for all you guys, every chance I get, because we could all use a good pray for in this hard life.

What you need is a spell check.
Regardless, I will be glad to pray for your and your friend's issues. And the spell check.

Still praying for your boy, boyward!

UPDATE
The surgery went better than they expected. I'm not sure the exact extent of the injuries, but there's definitely some damage to the face. The surgery was intended to repair parts of his skull, and they had to mess around with the brain a bit to do that. They were worried that he wouldn't be himself for a long time, but his family's been emailing us, and they say he's talking and seems to remember things pretty well and doesn't seem disoriented or anything. There's still some concern of infection, but the prognosis is good. This was definitely a best-case scenario given his injuries.

but I wanted to ask for prayer for myself and my family. Over Christmas my father was diagnosed with stage 4 colon cancer. Last night I found out that his hospice nurses expect him to die in less than a week. Please pray for our strength. My father means so much to so many people. I am only 21 and this is incredibly difficult. Please please pray for me.
And praise God for my father's work. He lived the gospel every day that I've known and loved him.
