Transformers was a pretty terrible movie.

However, you should all be excited about The Dark Knight

This is an official photo.

Ledger's Joker is so incredibly disturbed. The smeared lipstick is perfect.

I dunno... I think Jim Carey could do better.

He was The Riddler. Close enough and that wasn't too good of a role he did.

Arnold wasn't exactly good as Mr. Freeze either because those movies stank.

Personally.. I'd rather see him as the Joker than Heath Ledger.

... why? Carrey is dead. He's done nothing but ruin roles for the past few years, or sign on to terrible stuff like The Number 23.

Ledger, however, is a true actor in his prime, ready to take on an a challenging and new role like this one. I'd bet some money that he'll deliver the role flawlessly.

I personally find the fake image of the Joker that Azurite linked to considerably better looking--it keeps the larger-than-life look of the original comic book Joker--than the official images that Warner Brothers have released. However, the official Joker looks more realistic, so to say; an element the rebooted series appears to be trying to maintain. Also, regardless of makeup choices, I'm confident that the character will be well polished, believable, et cetera. Which is what truly matters.

While it's a matter of opinion either way, I agree that Jim Carry would not make a good Joker (or a good anything in the film) and that Heath Ledger is a solid choice for the role.

I'm not sure it's fair to compare photoshopped pics to real ones. A person can do almost anything in photoshop, whereas in the other pic we're restrained by the reality of make artists.

Regardless, I think the second pic is more along the lines of the sicko Joker with a heavy dose of the realism that they went for in first movie.

Aye, Matter of opinion. I'm just not a fan of Heath Ledger and I'd rather see Carey do the role.

I'm just glad they're going with the more evil persona of Joker...rather than the prankish comical practical joker they could have had...

What if "The Dark Knight" has both jokers? If Scarecrow returns (Cilian Murphy was reported to be on the set), it's possible that we might see that photoshop Joker through the eyes of Scarecrow's hallucinogen victims. Just a thought.

Perhaps I should give a quick explination as to what "photoshopped"means. It means that a fan of Batman said "You know what, I would like to use my photoshop skills to make a picture of what Heath Ledger as Joker could look like." That version of joker isn't going to be in The Dark Knight. Sorry.

Were you replying to my post, Bertuzzifan? This is my reply to your reply, which I thought was in reply to me. If you weren't replying to me, please disregard. :) Anyway, I was working under the assumption that Azurite's movie poster was official, not from a fan. Maybe I'm wrong. But if my theory is right, and both Heath Ledger and the big-mouth Joker (from Azurite's poster) are in the movie, couldn't they take a photoshop concept and work it into the movie with their CGI stuff? That's what I was thinking.
