So today at work I had a mildly crappy day. It wasn't the worst, but it was bad enough... one of my freezers went out and I had to count inventory. So I figured I'd treat myself to some of the old ultraviolence, via the God of War collection on PS3. Unfortunately, I don't own it. So I trekked over to the Gamestop a couple of blocks from my apartment through the cold wind (seriously, it was like 80 degrees just a couple of hours ago, what gives?) to find that they're sold out, and the closest store that has one is in another town. Not that it makes much difference to my non-driving butt, it could have been another Gamestop in Corpus and I wouldn't have been able to get it.

Oh well, guess I'll have to play one of the games on my backlog.

Dang bro, that -stinks-, my day was pretty alright. Good lunch, mildly tired through out the day (because I had the strangest dream ever!). When I got home a lady from the collage I'm planning to go to (now called Asbury University) calls me and tells me how much that scholarship was worth, you know, the one I talked about earlier? Of course ya do, (xD) anyway, she told me it's worth, $6,250.00! This be good news, still alot for board and rooming and what not, but if my sister joins me, it cuts that down quite a handfull, so heres prayin'. :D

There seemed to be some news about it. People in Hawaii and other coastal areas were certainly worried about the tsunamis caused by it.

There was actually more than one quake that day. Oklahoma had one for example.

On an unrelated note; has anyone played Gabriel Knight 2: The Beast Within?

So, I haven't turned on my PS3 in like, 20 days. When I turn it on, the fix...is it just a simple download?

I just realized where Azurite's avatar was from.

Man, that debate was just embarrassing to watch.

Yeah...it was pretty bad. I skip that part.

No download necessary. Just turn it on, and if the date is goofy just set it manually or via internet connection. That's all. This was like what Y2k was supposed to be, only it was over in less than a day and it fixed itself.

Wait, was last night dream night or something? You're the third person besides me who had a really strange dream last night. And mine was like the weirdest/most disconcerting I've ever had.

I find it odd that Haiti gets tons of attention for the earthquake, and yet the one in Chile (which was the 7th strongest in history) seems to be largely ignored...

I think it might have to do with 200,000+ dead in Haiti compared to the 700 or so in Chile.

Here's something that took way more time than it should have done...

Here are some circles. Their size is representative of how many people have died in Haiti and Chile, and compares them to the yearly worldwide death rates of some other fatal things on earth.

Azurite, you're welcome.

Bertuzzifan, that puts things into perspective alright.

Evili: Holy smokes, that is HUGE! Talk about God being able to do exceedingly beyond all that we could ask or think! Praise God and congratulations to you! I'm curious about what you see yourself doing at Berea. Have you declared a major?

Congratos Evili.

Whoa, that circle graph makes those earthquakes look like not that big of a deal at all. It actually kind of makes me sick, seeing as people are paying more attention now to Haiti and Chili for these earthquakes then the whole AIDS thing, and that was probably an issue waaay back when, right? And it seemed like it wasn't quite as bountifully handled as these earthquake things now.

You're right Boyward, God is amazing in all things. We had no idea what we were going to do, and He answered us.

I plan on going into college studying for my major in English and my minor in journalism. I'm very excited! :D
